Physiotherapist – Veterinary Centre (Part-time, 18 hours)

Competitive  | Part Time  | Pride Veterinary Centre – Derby

The team

The team of 100+ veterinary professionals at Pride Park Veterinary Centre deliver specialist led care across all disciplines, collaborating to provide the best possible outcome for all our patients. The Physiotherapist team is a small and close knit and includes a dedicated Hydrotherapist.

Your role

Working within the rehabilitation unit we require an accomplished physiotherapist to provide physiotherapy treatments to animals currently under our care or to animals referred by external practices.

We have a vibrant and thriving physiotherapy and hydrotherapy department with clients from across the East Midlands. We are building our inpatient rehabilitation services, including dedicated land-based therapy areas and electrotherapy equipment.

Our patients come to us from a range of referral disciplines such as orthopedics, neurology, pain clinic, medicine and our first opinion clinicians.

We have a treadmill and hydrotherapy pool which are in almost constant use. The pool is next to the grooming area and can be seen from the retail area of the practice.

Positivity, enthusiasm and working well within a team are all attributes that we welcome for this Physiotherapy role, plus someone who is happy to teach others and share their knowledge.

This role is for 18 hours each week, over 2 days, although there may be some flexibility for the right candidate.

Deadline for applications: Friday 13th December.

Interviews will be held in January 2020
