The Hilton practice is set in a lovely rustic village location. It is a modern site able to provide a range of surgical procedures in addition to general pet care reviews and informative clinics. Locally, there are a number of shops to visit with plenty of available parking.

Having recently invested in our Hilton practice with a full refurbishment of the building, equipment and displays, it is a fresh and modern working environment.


The team

Hilton is an established Practice with a proven high level of service. We have a strong and competent Client Care Advisors here who the clients absolutely love. We have recently opened the Hilton practice on a Wednesday so there is the opportunity to promote this as a bonus day of availability for our clients.

As a business we take pride in providing outstanding pet healthcare and this role of veterinary nurse enables us to do this at a local level in the community.


Your role

You will be involved in all theatre and imaging work, anaesthetics, nurse clinics and general stock/maintenance/promotion of the practice. We anticipate that your individual clinical knowledge will improve steadily. Our CPD allowance is generous and actively promoted.

This is a full-time role of 41 hours per week working between the opening hours of 8.30am at the earliest start to 7pm as the latest finish. There is also one Saturday morning to work in every three to four weeks. There is the option to be based full time at Hilton or alternately split the week between Hilton and our hospital site at Pride Veterinary Centre.

We would welcome applicants for this veterinary nurse position who want to bring their interests into the practice and breathe some fresh air and energy into developing nurse clinics.

Any OOH work will be covered by our hospital site at Pride Park and this is where your internal training is likely to be held, where we have the UK’s most innovative veterinary equipment.
