The team
The Oncology department at Pride Veterinary Centre is currently comprised of one clinician, an ECVIM–CA (Oncology) Diplomate, one discipline specific intern and two veterinary nurses. Rotating interns and students from the University of Nottingham rotate through our hospital. We work closely with our colleagues in other teams.
Our current case load for Oncology varies between 4 and 8 new cases a week plus c 15-20 chemotherapy patients currently. We are seeing approximately 80% dogs and 20% cats. The service works alongside various disciplines: internal medicine, surgery

This is an exciting opportunity to develop skills and knowledge in the expanding discipline of oncology. This internship is designed to prepare the candidate for a residency although desire to pursue as residency is not a prerequisite.
