Client Care Advisor – Langley Mill

NMW  | Part Time  | Langley Mill

Our outstanding Client Care team are there for our clients, answering the phone, welcoming them and their pets into the practice and ensuring they are looked after and have everything they need every step of the way. They are a professional, friendly and dedicated team, and often the first contact with our clients so are vital to our business.

The team

Our veterinary practice in Langley Mill is brand-new and only opened in March 2019. The practice is central to the town of Langley Mill and placed closely to a range of busy shops. The team currently has two part time Client Care Advisors working 18 hours a week, plus a full-time vet and veterinary nurse. We are seeking the last Client Care Advisor to complete the team and would like a confident team player who enjoys finding solutions to situations.

The role

Your role as Client Care Advisor at Scarsdale Vets will be very varied with no two days being the same. If you are looking for a challenge and the ability to make a difference, this is the role for you!

You will be taking phone calls, making appointments, assisting clients with queries, reassuring clients, listening to their needs, taking payments, solving problems and generally 'being there' for our clients. You must have basic word and excel skills as you might need to create documents or spreadsheets and you will have full training on our veterinary software where we hold vital information regarding our patients.

Being at the heart of the business, the Client Care Advisors are there to not only facilitate and support the clients and the patients, but also for the onsite practice vet and nurse. There will often be occasions where you are asked to help by holding an animal who is being examined.

So, being comfortable around a range of differing animals would be an asset.

We would like you to be employed on a rota’d contract of 18 hours per week and the hours of work will be between 8.30am and 7pm Monday to Friday (morning shift 8.30am to 2pm with afternoon shift 2pm to 7pm) plus 1 Saturday morning in 3 (9-12). Rotas will be produced at least 4 weeks in advance and there would be an expectation that absence was covered within the team of three, as required.
